The BC Chito Kai Athlete of the Year plaque is given to the athlete who has excelled at the Provincial, National and International levels.
The Senpai Julie Inspirational Award is given to a member who inspires others in the dojo and in their community. The $400 bursary is to be used for fees, tournaments or other karate related expenses.
The Chito Ryu Friendship Tournament is a popular event that welcomes participants from across Western Canada. Bringing leadership, expertise and experience, Sensei Taneda, 7th Dan, Kyoshi, is the highest ranking Chito Ryu instructor outside of Japan and will be hosting this event.
